UPC’s Urban & Global Missions formed volunteer work teams to serve in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. Teams will work for a period of one week, Saturday to Saturday, in October 2005 and continuing through the end of 2006. Teams stayed at First Presbyterian Church in Bay St. Louis.
The town sits on the Bay of Saint Louis, which opens into the Mississippi Sound. The surrounding area was obliterated by the hurricane; the town sustained serious damage.
